Barber

Post by Brody »

It's time to split my wig, as they say in the hood.

Are there any recent, positive, barbershop experiences anyone would like to share?

Not recent as such....

Best haircut, 200yds along from the other half’s family HQ near Krakor. Best r6000 I’ve spent.

Previously, griped when I was charged $2r1000 for a haircut when the brother-in-law was charged $1.5 Along St15. He has at least twice as much hair, consistency of porcupine quills, while I vaguely recall having too much hair back in the ‘80s :| And now brush it with a towel.

I fear the little fella has not inherited Asian hair genes.

Unlikely to be of much use.....

That's was a good joint when I was going there 2 years ago. Then, the min. was $5 for a wash/cut. There is a great spot I recently found not too far from the cross streets of 143 and 300 (not too far from the Russian market). $2.50 and he does a great job if not better than the service level of Tokyo (minus the wash) and I will not be changing. if interested let me know and I'll look up its actual location for you.
Still here, in country...

I use one on 154, about 20 metres from Riverside. It has aircon, competence at their job, can do modern styles and costs $3.
