Two Teenage Girls, 13 and 14, Arrested in Kampot Drug Raid

Cambodia News (Kampot): On June 30, 2020, two minors were taken into custody, when Anti-drug police collaborated with Kampot police and security no. 303, to crack down on drug trafficking, and arrested four people, in Sovan Sakor village, Sangkat Kompong Kandal, Kampot. The raid led by Mr. Sen Vicheka, the deputy commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, was coordinated by Mr. Ek Chenghout, the court prosecutor.

The suspects were identified as Tho Danisa, a 13-year-old girl student, Tho Danita, a 14-year-old girl student, Pov Dany, 35 years old woman, an online seller, and Ngoun Sineth, a 34-year-old man.

The police confiscated seven packets of the drug methamphetamine, weighing a total of 14.15 grams, three motorbikes, two phones, and a set of scales. The four suspects were all detained at the Royal Gendarmerie following the legal procedure.
