Cambodia News (Thbong Kmum): On June 23, 2020, at 4:30 pm, a 73-year-old man, Ton Chea, died after getting shocked by the electric fence around his house in Chroy Changha village, Thbong Kmum.

After receiving the information, the local police in collaboration with Mong Veang police and the doctor from Mong Vea center, went to the scene to examine the body. The police concluded that the victim was shocked to death by his electric fence.

The neighbors said that the victim had built the electric fence to protect his property from burglars. Unfortunately, it seems that he woke up and came down stairs and was shocked to death when he touched the fence by mistake. Police say that the death was an accident, and there wasn't a criminal involved in this case.

The body was returned to the family for funeral preparation. RIP.
