Barang victim complex

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Well, I've always had problems to say something positive about Cambodia. I'm kind of realist you know.
Btw., I'm not stuck in Cambodia.......have left the country about 2 month ago in direction Europe and I feel very well where I am now. Haven't missed Cambodia for a single second so far. You guys should do the same.....go home or go somewhere else.........Cambodia and most parts of Asia is not the right place to be anymore.
Nice to see that you still check in on us Francis. Good luck with whatever you're doing. :beer3:

Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht

In der Tiefe ist es einsam

Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist

I went back to Austria a couple of months back and thought that I quite liked being back home. Until I was faced with a 50+ hour working week with a shit job that I did for people I didn't even like a whole lot. After three months or so all of my thoughts were focused on "I gotta go back"
Seriously, Austria can suck my nuts

Yeah, but the kangaroos there are great, right?
I wish I knew a whole lot more, or a whole lot less.
