Italian Man Chases Down Phone Snatcher

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On June 17, 2020, at 11:30 am, a 36-year-old Italian man, VALENTINO CHIRICO, staying at Sofitel hotel, was victim of a phone snatching on Sothearos road, Sangkat Tonle Basac, Phnom Penh.

Before the incident, the victim was driving a Click motorbike, when he stopped the bike at the side of the road and used his phone to message his friend. Suddenly, a thief drove his motorbike close to the victim and snatched the phone.
The Italian man gave chase and hit the suspect's bike causing it to fall over. The local people then helped him to detain the suspect and sent him to the police station for questioning.

The suspect, a 31-year-old man, Chan Seyha, was sent to Khan Chamarmorn police station to follow the legal procedure.

Well I'm glad that went the Italian mans way but included a high speed Click chase. Could have ended in injuries or death or worse.
