You think the traffickers have a moral code helping illegals over the border for payment, and back again in many cases, when the migrant workers may have covid19.
Yes? Note I didn’t say it was one I agreed with.

wonder how many more crossed and were not counted?> double this number i bet

Ever since the outbreak of Covid-19 in Thailand’s Samut Sakhon province on December 3 last year, a total of 80,853 migrant workers have returned home until mid-June this year.
The provinces that handled the highest number of migrant workers crossing the Cambodian-Thai borders were Battambang, Oddar Meanchey and Koh Kong.
According to the administrative offices of these provinces, they had almost successfully handled ( LOL ) all the migrant workers at the borders, quarantined them as per the 14-day mandatory directive and only released them from the centres after they were tested negative for the coronavirus.

21,000 baht for 6 months pay, I hope those figures are wrong
21,000/31=677.41 maybe monthly figure not total.

Too much for monthly, that would be about twice the minimum wage for Thais. But yes, for 6 months it does sound too low.
