Construction Workers Busted with Drugs and Large Selection of Homemade Guns

Cambodia News (Svay Rieng): Five male construction workers were arrested for drug trafficking and possession of a multitude of homemade weapons in Por village, Chantrea District, Svay Rieng. The suspects were named as Neang Vichera, 28 years old, Nhoeng Socheat, 23 years old, Prak Doth, 30 years old, Prak Buth, 36 years old, and one person was not identified.

The raid was commanded by Lieutenant Sen Vuthey, the commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, coordinated by Mr. Khan Sophary, the prosecutor of Svay Rieng court.

The police confiscated 40 packets of white crystal drugs (methamphetamine) weighing a total of 23,77 grams, as well as ten handmade guns, two scales, two samurai swords, knives, and five phones.
