Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On May 27-28, 2020, Mr. En Song, director of the Anti-drug department, led the specialist police to collaborate with Phnom Penh police, under the coordination by the prosecutor Mr. Plorng Sophal, to crack down on a drug smuggling operation from Cambodia to Taiwan.

There were three different targets raided by police: 1. in Sangkat Toul Sangke, Khan Reusey Keo, 2. in front of Cambodiana hotel, Sangkat Sras Chok, and 3. at the rented house no. 1222, at Diamond One condo, in Koh Pich.

The three suspects who were arrested were identified as:
1. EGOR SERGIENKO, a 35-year-old man, a Russian national.
2. LU CHAO FENG, a 44-year-old Taiwanese man,
3. Han Rina, a 30-year-old Cambodian man.

The police confiscated 1,357.85 grams of drugs in all, (1228.08 grams of Heroin, and 5.50 grams of ICE), four phones, two cars, a motorbike, two scales, and some drug packing equipment. The police are preparing the case of suspects, along with the evidence, to be submitted for trial to the Principal Court of Phnom Penh.
