Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

U.S. protests as documented by the people

Post by finish_money »

Below are a variety of videos I've seen that help describe what's happening on the ground.

DISCLAIMER: Although I assume everyone here is an adult and can handle these types of images, there are a few that I found extremely disturbing.

It should also be noted that the Trump has been claiming that "Anitfa" (an anti-fascist group) is responsible for the chaos, and today he declared them a terrorist organization.
just setting the mood before we begin..

...and a testimonial from John Cusack:

Looks like walking away from a fight and calling yourself winner is not in fashion these days.
Spoiler:
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I've been an agitated Leftist for over a decade. But if you look what happened to "man with sword beaten by crowd" guy, and many, many similar others, I don't think you can find police doing anything 1% as bad as that.

These people have weapons because they're trying to defend themselves, and/or their life's work (small business) from obviously sick and murderously violent crowds. Just the fact that the little guy thought he could take on multiple opponents with a sword shows he doesn't have much experience with violence and doesn't know what the fuck he's doing. i.e. normal, non-violent people.

Most of the those videos are from the minority of May 30th violence that was committed by police. There are so many not included that are infinitely worse. But we don't need those. What you posted does the job with that one video.

Furthermore bow and arrow guy had been having mobs of people threatening him. He also was not schooled in the ways of violent mobs because of his stupid decision(and yes I don't think he's a great guy obviously. just because he's ignorant doesn't mean he's highly moral). But I wouldn't expect all decent people to respond rationally to 70 people advancing on you threateningly. And look what happened to him! He got his head stomped in! That's two people that got their heads stomped in. There are no words for how devastating it is for a person to have their head stomped in. That's *two examples*. Two. Out of a heck of a lot more.

Anyone can title a video, 'Police did -X- nasty thing'. That doesn't make the violence equal to the rioters. Without a shadow of a doubt nobody outdid the violence of these mobs on this particular day.

I hope we can agree to disagree in a civil way. If it must be so.

After the first 4-5 , just couldn't watch anymore...disgusting behavior coming from the officers,
Does excessive police force come to mind??

These officers are trained to be better than the normal guy, its oblivious they were NOT trained enough.
With these videos on hand, expect lots of reprimands and possible firings being dealt out to the officers.

How will this all end as surely even arresting the 4 officers an finding them guilty, ( Months down the line) wont satisfy the protestors anymore.

This has been building since the 60's
There's something happening here
But what it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
A-telling me, I got to beware

There's battle lines being drawn
And nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Are gettin’ so much resistance from behind

What a field day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and a-carryin’ signs
Mostly say, "Hooray for our side"

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
Step out of line, the man come and take you away

Everybody look what's going
We better stop
Children, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down
America needs change
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Who would want to be a cop in the US?

It's dangerous out there. Especially since anyone and everyone could be carrying a gun.

So, let's start there. Disarm the public. Make it safe to be a cop.

Driving on that road was a bad idea.
Stopping was a really bad idea.

It's a shame some of these black individuals think they are discriminated against in America because of the color of their skin. When they are yelling 'BLACK LIVES MATTER, FAGGOT' it's clear they are lovely individuals who make enormous contributions to society and just want love and fairness for all.
