Where should I visit in Phnom Penh during the pandemic?
I'm heading to Phnom Penh for a couple days. I've never spent time there before. The only things I can say I'm not interested in are the genocide museum type stuff and "massage" places. What should I check out? Due to my current covid related work situation, I'm looking to keep the trip as cheap as possible while I'm there, but would love some recommendations on anything interesting or delicious. Food, drinks, entertainment, whatever.
Do you think the parents of baby boomers whined so much when the boomers started changing society? And yet the whiney ones like to call young people "snowflakes." Hmm...

My work isn't related. My work situation is. The current situation being that I'm out of work, and trying to do things on a budget.
Got any suggestions on what to do in Phnom Penh while I'm there? Good "bang for your buck" sort of stuff?

Ok sorry I understood wrongly that your work was covid related. I'll let others with boots on the ground chime in because I'm hearing that the days of huge lobster dinners for a buck or two are over. The female entertainment was priced similarly but its been a long time for me.

Walk on riverside from st 106 all the way to just past the Himawari Hotel (before 9am or after 5pm). Then take the car ferry across to the other side and back (500 rile each way).
Use the free exercise machines on riverside and people watch (from 4pm).
Go to Olympia Mall, walk the sky walk and ride the long escalator, shop at Lucky's for discounted items.
Drink half price at La Croisette on Riverside between 4-7pm (cnr st 144).
Drink draught beer at Larry's (st 110) and eat one of his specials. No discount but great food.
Buy half price bread and sandwiches at Eric Kayser at 6.30pm (riverside north of st 154).
If you like somewhere less salubrious, drink and/or eat on st 172 between st 13 and 19.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

Go to Nagaworld and bag a wealthy high roller.
While they sleep empty their bank accounts, wallet and jewelry. Make off in their car.
Might want to leave the country quickly after that though.
