Sen Monorom Thief Caught in the Act

Cambodia News, Sen Monorom: This morning, on May 23, 2020 at 8:30 am, police detained a suspect who was committing a burglary in the town of Sen Monorom. The man was seen climbing in through a window of a private house, and when he climbed out again the police were waiting for him.
Mondulkiri Municipal Police then arrested the suspect, Phan Phearun, male, 24, no occupation, living in a rented house in Kandal Village, Sen Monorom City, Mondulkiri Province.
It seems that this was not the man's first robbery. When his house was searched, police found 3 phones (1 Samsung S7, 1 Samsung Note9, 1 Ipad mini) - 1 compass - 1 wristwatch- 3 Memory Cards - 1 Lock - 1 Wifi - 1 Recorder - 1 Hard Disk and some accessories.

In this case, the local task force is building a case against the suspect to send to the provincial court following the procedure.

At the time of his capture he was working as a laborer on a construction project. He has since escaped police custody and stolen a motorcycle. They are currently trying to recapture him.
