Is a Mysterious Woman in Purple Pyjamas Drugging Phnom Penh Tuktuk Drivers ?
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On the morning of May 19, 2020, at 6:30 am, some local people found a PassApp tuk-tuk driver unconscious in his tuk-tuk in Toul Kok village, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh. There are suspicions that the man might have fallen unconscious when he was drugged by a woman passenger.
Police say that it seems that on May 19, at 1 am, the unidentified man, who was driving PassApp tuk-tuk plate no. PP1HU 5440, passed out after taking a woman passenger dressed in purple pajama in the direction from south to north.
When they arrived at the destination, the tuk-tuk was stopped, and the driver asked money from the woman. An argument took place in the tuktuk and then the victim went quiet. The woman was seen hugging the victim, and then she came out to look around to see if the coast was clear, before leaving the tuktuk carrying two plastic bags.
When the man was found unconscious, locals called the police, who went to the scene and took the victim to Calmette hospital. The tuktuk was taken away for examination at the police station. Police are busy trying to identify the mysterious woman passenger in purple pyjamas who may be able to help them in their inquiries.

Re: Mysterious Woman in Purple Pyjamas Suspected of Drugging Tuktuk Driver
Mysterious Tuktuk Attacker Strikes Again
Cambodia Breaking News, Phnom Penh: Last night, another tuktuk driver was found unconscious after taking a mysterious woman passenger at 11:40 pm on May 19, 2020 from opposite Preah Kossom Hospital, along Street 271 in Teuk Thla Khan Sen Sok.
A man who asked not to be named, who was selling the juice on the roadside near the scene, said he had earlier seen the victim driving a yellow and green Indian tuktuk, plate Phnom Penh 1HL-7949, with a woman in the back, traveling north to south on Street 271. The tuktuk stopped in front of the drink stand, and the woman passenger got out to buy a glass of juice from his wife.
After a while, his wife prepared the juice and handed it to the suspect. The suspect then pulled out a glass of his own juice, along with a bag of white powder, which the suspect woman said was sugar.
The suspect then handed the victim a glass of the juice and they proceeded on a short way before the driver stopped and pulled up on the sidewalk in a quiet spot. The two sat in the tuktuk for a while, and then the woman got out and walked away quickly.
The juice seller was suspicious when he didn't see the driver, so he went over and found the victim lying unconscious in the tuk-tuk. He then reported to local authorities to intervene, and the tuktuk driver was taken to Preah Kossom Hospital for treatment.
This is the second such attack on a tuktuk driver. However, so far, there does not seem to be a good description of the mystery woman.
Phnom Penh tuktuk drivers beware.

Not the brightest knifes in the drawer; both the victim and the suspect, haha.
