Covid-19 VACCINE News
Re: Covid-19 VACCINE News
That's good news for some for sure, it was months ago when the local guy who has the Wing money place, had his shot down at the police clinic along with them because he has Asama.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Anyway someone got some from a good source and died.
And what underlying health issues did they have and (the important bit) just because she had a vaccine and died is that the reason?
And anyway. People die from eating fish or getting a flu vaccine. Means nothing.
People of the world, spice up your life.

A million AZ from Japan and now another million J&J from Covax? Is Vietnam getting the same deliveries? Thailand too? With an abundance of SinoVac/Pharm in Cambodia already and more on the way, it might be time to start doing our neighbours a favour.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 10:34 am OK I am unsure of the source but this was unexpected news:

Not sure how reliable this is but good news if true - many EU countries recognising the Indian-sourced Covishield Astra Zeneca vaccine for travel there...

We could probably use them here for our third shots.Doc67 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 1:49 pmA million AZ from Japan and now another million J&J from Covax? Is Vietnam getting the same deliveries? Re: Covid-19 VACCINE News
Thailand didn't apply for COVAX
Vietnam have received around 2.5m AZ and 2m Moderna (not sure if Moderna qualified as COVAX or just donation from US
Edit: J&J seems to be the worst western developed vaccine too. Just can't catch a break

Re: Covid-19 VACCINE News
They issued some mumbo jumbo about high costs of COVAX vaccines and unknown delivery times. Of course, they already had the AZ contract in their sweaty, greedy little hands. They were more worried about getting their brown envelopes than the people they (allegedly) served. Which continues to this day.Doc67 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 10:01 amApollo91881 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 8:46 amI wonder how J&J compares to the Chinese ones though.cautious colin wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 7:47 amThailand didn't apply for COVAX

As Timmy above points out, they are negotiating to join COVAX, which would be almost pointless at this time since they would end up at the bottom of the list for any donations/purchases from COVAX, which is infested almost entirely with the two Chinese vax anyway.
The J&J Janssen vaccine rated 66% efficacy from the trials. But the US FDA just added a warning to the vaccine's labels after more than 100 cases of Guillaine-Barre syndrome within 6 weeks of injection. Plus there were blood clot cases.
