For those of us who cannot or will not get vaccinated, and even for those of us who have been vaccinated but want fuller protection, here is information from a study in India that shows the significant, but far from complete, effectiveness of Ivermectin as a preventative of Covid.

At the back end of the video is a snippet on a mysterious contributor to facebook who succeeded in getting an earlier video on Ivermectin taken down. Grist to the mill for those who see big pharma as a force for evil.

This is an interesting article that was posted on another thread, but seems better here.

What's the Valneva COVID-19 vaccine, the French shot that's supposed to be 'variant-proof'?

A COVID-19 vaccine from French company Valneva has yet to complete clinical trials. But it has caught the eye of governments in the UK, Europe and Australia.

One of the vaccine's main selling points is its apparent ability to mount a more general immune response against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, rather than rely on the spike protein to do this.

This means the vaccine is more likely to be effective against the type of virus variants we've already seen emerging, and may emerge in the future. Some reports describe it as "variant-proof".

The hope is vaccines using this technology would be able to provide protection for longer, rather than keep being reformulated to get ahead of these new variants.

I saw this as well. Could be a game changer if it works.

PM HE: Mandatory Vaccination Cannot Apply For All At The Moment
ចេញផ្សាយ ថ្ងៃទី ០៨ ខែ ឧសភា ឆ្នាំ ២០២១
AKP Phnom Penh, May 08, 2021 --

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HE this morning confirmed that mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 cannot apply for all at the moment.

According to his voice message to the public, mandatory vaccination is only for the civil servants and armed forces, but not for the general public for the moment because it needs time and enough vaccines for the citizens.

Moreover, he added, only 16 percent of the planned 10 million people to be vaccinated have so far been inoculated, therefore vaccination cannot be used as a basis for travel, for quarantine reduction and to get or maintain a job and this is unfair for those who have not been vaccinated yet.

Samdech Techo HE said up to yesterday, COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 1.66 million people and the figure is expected to reach 1.7 million today.

WHO lists additional COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use and issues interim policy recommendations
7 May 2021 News release
Reading time: 3 min (917 words)

WHO today listed the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use
, giving the green light for this vaccine to be rolled out globally. The Sinopharm vaccine is produced by Beijing Bio-Institute of Biological Products Co Ltd, subsidiary of China National Biotec Group (CNBG).

“The addition of this vaccine has the potential to rapidly accelerate COVID-19 vaccine access for countries seeking to protect health workers and populations at risk,” said Dr Mariângela Simão, WHO Assistant-Director General for Access to Health Products. “We urge the manufacturer to participate in the COVAX Facility and contribute to the goal of more equitable vaccine distribution.”

WHO’s Emergency Use Listing (EUL) is a prerequisite for COVAX Facility vaccine supply. It also allows countries to expedite their own regulatory approval to import and administer COVID-19 vaccines.

The EUL assesses the quality, safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, as well as risk management plans and programmatic suitability, such as cold chain requirements. The assessment is performed by the product evaluation group, composed by regulatory experts from around the world and a Technical Advisory Group (TAG), in charge of performing the risk-benefit assessment for an independent recommendation on whether a vaccine can be listed for emergency use and, if so, under which conditions.

In the case of the Sinopharm vaccine, the WHO assessment included on-site inspections of the production facility.

The Sinopharm product is an inactivated vaccine called SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine (Vero Cell). Its easy storage requirements make it highly suitable for low-resource settings. It is the also first vaccine that will carry a vaccine vial monitor, a small sticker on the vaccine vials that change color as the vaccine is exposed to heat, letting health workers know whether the vaccine can be safely used.

WHO’s Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) has also completed its review of the vaccine. On the basis of all available evidence, WHO recommends the vaccine for adults 18 years and older, in a two-dose schedule with a spacing of three to four weeks. Vaccine efficacy for symptomatic and hospitalized disease was estimated to be 79%, all age groups combined.

Well let's hope it reads true, because that may be the one, we now may be able soon to buy privately, or only our means of getting a vaccine shot.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Good luck finding Ivermectin here in a pharmacy. “No stock” “No have” etc

Ivermectin is extremely safe, extremely cheap, listed as an essential médecine by the WHO and got a Nobel price.

I know someone who bought it yesterday. If you ask at several pharmacies you will get it eventually. Many places sell it mixed with another drug as can be used for anti-parasitic purposes, that is best avoided if you want it for Covid treatment or prevention. Ivermectin is a lot more expensive than it ought to be. $7+ for 3 x 4mg pills. That allows for a fair bit of profit along the line when it costs $30 per kilogram in bulk.

Btw, when you ask for it, pronounce it "eevermectin" in Cambodia.

Thanks for the tip, if I remember well, you need 0.2mg per Kg body weight, two times, 3 days apart and this every month.
That’s the prevention dosage.
