In a word.... nuffink!
Resigned to watching the little fella grow up over messenger camera over the next few months. Might take his birthday presents back, and exchange them for something appropriate for a two year old.
Did I read about a Korean Air option, mentioned elsewhere, from Europe? I might have to look at that.

I've been looking, Korea Air 4/7/20 one way £840. The only thing that is stopping me is this bloody $3000 deposit.
Re: Travel availability from UK to Cambodia
The Korean Air works from the UK via Amsterdam. Morning flight via KLM from LHR and a Korean Air flight all the way through to PP on the same day. They do fly from London but the connector to PP is on the wrong days. Bloody expensive though, Korean and Asiana are having it all their own way right now.Freightdog wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 8:08 pm In a word.... nuffink!

I'm hoping for Cathay/Cathay Dragon via HK or Singapore/Silk Air via SGN to start up, they are showing on Skyscanner for August so maybe that will create some realistic alternatives.

A small ray of hope for getting closer to the region with emirates opening up a limited, but seemingly reasonably priced service to KL and Singapore. While not quite there, yet, I'm wondering if there may be some local flights out of PhnomPenh to either location in the near future.

You need to get into those countries first , but can't at the moment
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

That's the only one I can see at the moment Doc.
Re: Travel availability from UK to Cambodia
It seems that both Korean and Asiana are both offering a Saturday service from 4th of July onwards. Seems a bit odd that they didn't operate on different days but there you go. Korean has a better reputation but, more importantly, they arrive in PP 45 minutes before Asiana. That 45 minutes might be worth 2 hours in terms of getting out the other side.
All eyes on the $3000 deposit...
Re: Travel availability from UK to Cambodia
Korean Air have cancelled their Saturday service from London to Seoul.
That leaves Monday, Wednesday and Friday, non of which tie up with their Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday services to Phnom Penh.
It is now only Asiana with a one airline only option from London, operating on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
I very nearly booked with Korean but their prices shot up by £250 and so I booked with Asiana instead. Whether Korean have had a deal with Asiana and swapped everyone over or whether people will be chasing a refund for months is a question I am glad I don't know the answer to. Maybe I dodged a bullet.
