Health insurance checked?

Post by lagrange » Thu May 14, 2020 12:09 am

I understand a requirement for a new visa is proof of at least $50,000 medical insurance cover. I wonder if the insurance docs are checked? I mean, wouldnt it be cheaper to knock up some official looking docs using a Southern Cross type letterhead and pass those off? Asking for a friend.
It is what it is, until it isn't, and probably wasn't anyway.
