The real Lord of the Flies
The real Lord of the Flies: what happened when six boys were shipwrecked for 15 months
When a group of schoolboys were marooned on an island in 1965 it turned out very differently from William Golding’s bestseller.
Fab story.

Re: The real Lord of the Flies
So... what do you reckon would be the scenario if any six of us, names plucked out of a hat, were stranded on a tropical island all together for a couple of years?

I guarantee that learning the art of distilling coconut water into a consumable and marketable alcohol would be high on the list.SternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 5:01 pm So... what do you reckon would be the scenario if any six of us, names plucked out of a hat, were stranded on a tropical island all together for a couple of years?

Well, first off, I'd pluck out your liver, saute it in a nice red wine vinaigrette and then proceed to enjoy its succulent delights with a side of fava beans and a nice chilled chianti.SternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 5:01 pm So... what do you reckon would be the scenario if any six of us, names plucked out of a hat, were stranded on a tropical island all together for a couple of years?
