Dead 7Yo Girl Found Tied Up in Suspected Pursat Murder-Robbery
Cambodia News (Pursat): In a shocking incident on May 6, 2020, local people discovered the body of a 7-year-old girl, who had her hands tied and her head covered by a bag, in Prek village, Kandeang district, Pursat.
A preliminary investigation suggests that the girl was murdered for her necklace. On May 7, 2020, the special police went to the scene to investigate and examined the body of the victim.
The victim was identified as Rong Sreypich, seven years old, living with her mother named Chab Rady, 29 years old, a widow. RIP.

How many kids must be murdered or injured before these idiotic parents stop putting jewelry on them? Such a tragic, and entirely avoidable, loss of life. RIP.

If this were an isolated incident with no prior similar instances then, no, we shouldn’t be too harsh on the parents.
But.... we know this shit happens way too often and with the wide spread use of social media these crimes are well talked about in the wider community!
So, yeah..... extremely poor judgement from the parent in allowing a small child to wear such an expensive item of jewellery.
