Cambodia News, Sihanoukville: Sihanoukville Deputy Governor Eam Sarin said that on May 4, 2020, the municipal authorities seized a herd of cattle that had been let free to roam on the public beach. One of the cows was taken into custody in the town hall while authorities search for the owner, he said.

According to the deputy governor, if the herdsmen do not stop the release of cows on the public beaches of Sihanoukville, the city administration authorities will take further steps, including the possible confiscation of the herd.

Why is it a problem now I wonder ?

When I first visited Snooky in Jan 2014, cows often walked along the beach, as well as along the roads behind it, eating some of the rubbish too

Do the Chinese not like cows ?

What is the situation in Sihanoukville? Is the dominance still that of the Chinese? I was under the impression most plans had been dashed with making the place, that of a rich Chinese international playground, to the present plans of turning the once European, World travellers must go to laid back beach town, then gambling hub into the present plans of a world class industrial zone, of that cows are not welcome to be that of beach bums.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

^^^
I have said it before and i will say it again - I am sick to death of CEO publishing photo's of petty crime perps on the front pages of CEO.

What happens when this cow wakes up from it's indigent hippy lifestyle and wants to apply for a proper job - and then the employer finds out she has convictions for naked moonlight bathing at the beach?
Poor cow will never get to be a croupier or be able add to Cambodian society in any other useful way.

There are plenty of vacancies at the local abattoirs . No CV needed.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
