EMS postal service

There is currently no EMS international delivery service available at the main post office in Phnom Penh.. (well, that's the impression I get from the bird behind the jump) might be a silly question but I would be most grateful if anyone could shed some light on the subject, maybe there are smaller outlets still operating? I've tried emphatically to try and find anything that even slightly indicates towards what we could only wish for as it seems, in the form of getting a sensible and correct answer or even a correspondence that doesnt leave you scratching your head.... lol.. many thanks in advance..

EMS is still coming in , got a package on Thursday also got a DHL package yesterday.
I saw where there was a moratorium on package being shipped out.

Seems the problem is the lack of flights, and the few remaining flights hiking up cargo rates (US has gone up from around $2.80 to $13 or more per kg). Difficult to carry airmail when there are no planes flying...

I went in the main PO, showed the lady my letter addressed to USA. She shook her head and said "No have airplane." Not difficult to understand. I like the ladies at the PO, they have always been helpful and friendly. Please don't diss them.

I've been waiting awhile for a package sent using EMS. Went to check on it twice this week at the PO, but was told nothing has been received yet. So maybe EMS is still not operating.

Sure would love to get my package though.

Why is standard part of the PO operating but not EMS?
