Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On April 29, 2020, at 09:20 am, a Swiss expat identified as Markus Zahner, 69 years old, died as a result of an attack by a Cambodian-American man named Thuch Sek , 41-year-old, over a fight between their two dogs on April 24, 2020, on Preah Sisovath road, Sangkat Psar Kandal 1, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

The police said, on April 24, 2020, at 10:30 pm, the victim and his wife took their dog to walk at the riverside. The suspect's dog came to play with the victim's dog. The victim was scared that the dogs would attack each other, so he used a stick to move the suspect's dog away. Suddenly, the suspect came over and used a stick to attack the Swiss man. The victim fell, and hit his head on a rock causing him to pass out. The victim was sent to the Calmette hospital for treatment. The police went to the scene and arrested the suspect for questioning. There was no complaint from the victim at the time, so the suspect was simply educated and given bail.

On April 25, 2020, at 10 am, the victim's wife filed the complaint at the police station on the suspect who attacked her husband, causing him to get seriously injured. As the victim's wife couldn't afford the hospital bill, the persecutor Mr. Song Chorvong, requested the suspect to pay for the victim's treatment. The suspect paid four instalments of a total of 3,612 USD for the hospital bills.

On April 29, 2020, at 9:20 pm, the police received the information from the victim's wife that the victim had passed away so they arrested the suspect and are preparing the case for the court.

Look at the guy. A poster child for 'roids. The better defense would have just to back away from any attack by a senior citizen. Once a violent criminal, always a violent criminal.
