New Traffic Laws in Force From 1 May 2020
Re: New Traffic Laws in Force From 1 May 2020
How about an infographic about mirrors, explaining those are indeed handy in case you feel the urge for an epilation but they can be used while driving too, if properly positioned.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 10:47 am Forget red lights and start small: teach the tuktuk guys (well, everyone) about the little thing called a turn signal.
Even while writing it down I can see the can of worms this will open.... mirrors... properly positioned mirrors....

Ah ha, 4000 traffic policemen will rise up from their hammocks like the night of the living dead.lostjeremy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 9:35 am I'm curious about these 4,000 officers. What are all these police officers doing all the other days if their not already out and about doing the police work they are supposed to. I highly doubt they hired another 4,000 officers in the previous weeks.

Could be in for a short term surprise here.
Similar to 4 years or so back, when they last increased fines introduced the commission based ticket system, they could be everywhere for the next three months before interest dies and we revert to the current state of affairs.

Yes, that's easy work for them, the truck and mini-bus drivers know the price when entering and departing the checkpoint areas when I was moving and was in the van with the furniture, the driver was in half mind to put his foot down and kinda do a runner. But then he stopped up the road a little thinking about it, the police now was at his door and removed his keys and the officer was well pissed, 10,000reil was the normal price, but the police were starting to be rough and drag him out of the van, I got out and run around the other side and gave them $5 before they beat the shit out of him.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 12:39 pm Could be in for a short term surprise here.

Always "hope" but never "expect".
