Just get a cheapo travel insurance policy and with a market pen highlight the $10,000,000 hospital cover and that should do the trick. You could probably show them a car insurance policy with a $50 bill placed inside it.

I'm seriously thinking of mocking up some moody travel insurance 'cover notes' for $50 a pop. Want one?

there was once a company called SOS that sold something that looked like insurance but was really only repatriation cost, but they have changed their tune.

My Thai airways flight in April was cancelled now my Qantas flight in June is cancelled how the fuck do I get home to Cambodia from Sydney Australia.
I'm couch surfing at the moment , while not desperate but staying in Australia for few months more I'll need to sort out somewhere more permanent to stay.

Yep got access , forgot I had it, so just had a quick look now not much more maybe some gorrie photos of dead people I didn't open as had warnings, anyway up to you to request maybe I'll look into it more later

Anyways, standard tourist and ordinary visa is one month. Extensions range from three to six months. Is it worth it at this point? Spend one month in isolation for one month in the Kingdom of Wonder?

Yeah, I wondered how would they know about wuhan virus coverage? The pandemic general exclusion is usually buried in the fine print on a multi page PDS.
