Nigerian OKONKWO REMIGUS DURU Arrested for Assault and Robbery
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On April 28, 2020, at 11:40 am, a 45-year-old Nigerian man, OKONKWO REMIGUS DURU, the general manager of Dan Duru Global Enterprise, was arrested for robbery using a cleaver, at the house no. 40, road 6, Borey Piphup Thmei, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh.
The suspect was arrested after a complaint lodged by 27-year-old, Prak Nalin, who has a Nigerian husband. The victim said on April 27, 2020, at 11:30 pm, the suspect came to her home, damaged the property, and threatened her with a knife. Then, he stole 3,500 USD from her and ran away.
After receiving the complaint, the police coordinated by the prosecutor surrounded the suspect's house in Borey Piphup Thmey and arrested the suspect. He was taken to the Khan Dongkor police station for questioning and his case will be submitted to the Phnom Penh court.

Phnom Penh: On June 17, a 43 year old Nigerian man, REMIGUS DURU OKONKWO called USMAN, was taken to Phnom Penh court after a complaint by DARG MAI NGA, a Vietnamese Business woman, who accuses the Nigerian of defrauding her of $ 356,000 USD.
According to the Vietnamese woman's complaint,in January 2018, the victim got to know the suspect by social media. On January 10, the suspect went to Hanoi to meet the victim, and convinced her to invest in a brick-making factory in Cambodia. The suspect took the victim to visit Cambodia to see the the factory site, and told her that it belonged to his friend. The victim believed his story and she decided to invest in the business. The victim subsequently transferred money 5 times to a bank account, sending US$ 356,000 in total.
After receiving all the money, the suspect turned off his phone so the victim unable to contact him for a while. On June 15, the suspect called the victim, and told her that the factory was nearly completed, but he needed her to invest another US$150,000.
After that, the victim didn't believe the suspect anymore, so she made an appointment to meet in Cambodia again, and called the Cambodian police to arrest the suspect when he came to meet her.

This is very outrageous, fake posting and spoiling the image of an innocent Nigeria man, he was fake accused but later
found he is not the one , wrong suspect and He release free in few weeks.

He was released then in police station after he got arrested, Cambodia police post the pictures in internet , this was not a case. surprise
