The Curry Club

Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. Found a favorite cafe or have a place we should avoid? Tell us about it. Asian recipes & questions are always welcome.

I've just cleaned up a load of off topic posts here.

@bossho you can have a week off for trolling and outing a forum member.

Now, back to the curries!

I don't bother with any lamb curry here, I pay $18 a kilo from Makro and make my own.
Oohhh when are you doing this??

We should have a Curry Club meetup. We could do a "travelling dinner," going to four or five restaurants, having one course at each.

Anyone interested?

A regular curry night, maybe. Once/twice per month, followed by drinks at a nearby watering hole. Different venue each time.

I know a couple of people who have been to the Indian outlet in Nage2 and the reports are good. The portions are good and the food is fresh and flavorsome.

I have been there once about 3 years ago and it was very nice, and quite cheap but just never gave it another thought again. I might make a lunchtime trip and check it out again.
