Sick Teen Dropout is Dropped by Friends at Phnom Penh Public Toilets

Cambodia News(Phnom Penh): On April 22, 2020, at 3:30 pm, there was a report that a sick 17-year-old girl had been left by some friends at the public toilet in Sangkat Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh.

The girl's story is, that three months earlier she suffered from a disease that was something like a heart attack (sic). After that, when she recovered, the girl ran away from home to hang out with her friends. Her parents went looking for her everywhere. When they found her, they asked to go back home, but when she refused to come home, they banned her from the family.

Today, on April 22, in the morning, a few friends of the victim dropped her at the public toilet. She was clearly unwell, and she asked the locals for help. The police went to the scene and called the ambulance to take the victim to Calmette hospital for treatment.

What if she was running away from home for good reasons ?
Bad friends for sure, and be banned by parents...doesn't look right in any way.

Why wouldn't you take her to the nearest hospital ?

I assume they don't have medical facilities and doctors at Cambodian public toilets
