All Things Aviation

Post by Brody »

My background is in military aviation and I have been an aviation enthusiast all my life.

My personal favorite era is the cold war....some amazing designs were birthed during that dangerously competitive time.

For the aviation geeks out there:

How the fuck are you comparing building an airplane to eradicating a virus?
If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!

@Brody grab yourself a copy of either "The Ravens" (CIA in Laos during Vietnam War) or "War in a Stringbag" - a great account of using WWI bi-planes during WWII & utilising their ludicrously slow speed for torpedo runs and avoiding enemy guns & planes that were calibred for defending against Lancasters, Hurricanes & Spitfires :D

Also this story never gets old ... and how could you omit the SR71 in your pics?!

Great stuff Spigzoid. :thumb:

Read "The Ravens" but have never come across "War in a Stringbag". Sounds fantastic!

I'd never omit the Blackbird.......I'm just pacing myself. :D

I dunno, maybe you should ask a scientist at NASA why they can't do the job of an immunologist.
