All Things Aviation
Re: All Things Aviation
That should not be able to fly.
Re: All Things Aviation
That's pretty accurate, actually.
The F-117 has a flight management system which assists the pilot in flying the airplane. Should that system ever malfunction, the plane would be unflyable. So it's definitely not your simple stick and rudder, cable driven, or even fly-by-wire jet.

I think this was at the old Hong Kong Airport ? It must of been terrifying onboard.
I know it's an old video but maybe new to some.

Great video @Doc67
I think that is the old airport.
There was a huge checkerboard etched into the hillside there, to give the pilots a visual cue as to when to begin their turn from base to final.
Crosswind landings are really where pilots earn their paychecks.
