All Things Aviation
Re: All Things Aviation
It doesn't
For takeoff there are drop-away wheeled stanchions under the wingtips that keep it level until lift off then they fall away.
Landing, it just slows down level, until it slowly tips to one side or an enterprising ground crew places a prop-up just in time. The wing tips are strengthened with skid plates so it's not a factor if it drags a wingtip.

Is it possible to watch the planes land at PP airport? Is there a place along the roadside where we could get a good view? Thought the kids might like to see it (7 and 8 yrs old b & g)
