I can think of a few companies where 3 vacancies would have been opened up immediately. The bloke in the jump seat should have fired himself.

B-52 unique crosswind gear arrangement. Pilots can dial the landing gear in to actuate and face the runway heading during heavy crosswind components.

Back in the days, the Concorde always had a priority during take-offs due to its fuel consumption, didn’t matter if was 30+ planes in queue, the Concorde would always glide past first to the runway.
