When i posted this, this morning, i had not yet watched it
just did.
The Green movement was sold to us as an alternative sustainable energy source
what a bunch of shit
Take the time, view this
it will open ur eyes
• Solar and wind energy are not feasible replacements for fossil fuels because they’re intermittent energy sources that need to be supplemented by nonrenewable sources, and because the manufacture of solar panels and windmills is environmentally destructive.
• Biomass fuel is even worse, destroying nature at a far faster rate than it can be replenished.
• Electric cars are bad because they’re charged through the existing power grid, and because they’re made of materials that take a lot of energy to produce.
• The green energy movement is full of hypocrites, many of whom are in bed with big corporations and even with the Koch brothers.
just did.

“The film doesn’t have all the answers but it challenges us to think differently,” Gibbs said.“Planet of the Humans,” which will be released on YouTube on Tuesday free of charge to the public, argues that the mainstream environmental movement has sold out to corporate interests and that solar and wind energy components and electric cars rely too heavily on deforestation and electricity generated from coal and natural gas to produce them.
“What we have been calling green, renewable energy and industrial civilization are one and the same thing – desperate measures not to save the planet but to save our way of life,” Gibbs says in the film.
A better approach, Gibbs suggests, would be people having fewer children. “Infinite growth on a finite planet is suicide,” he says.

You, and this movie, have really mixed up my head, Richard.
I like that - rethinking rethinking rethinking
should be more of it

Everything hooked up to the grid was the most mind-blowing "why didn't I ever think of that it's such common sense" part. Thanks for the recommendation!phuketrichard wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 7:29 pm • Electric cars are bad because they’re charged through the existing power grid

Not fighting the big fight here - just pointing out the simple fact that running a car on grid electricity produces far less greenhouse emissions than running cars on petrol. so it still makes sense.finish_money wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 2:32 amEverything hooked up to the grid was the most mind-blowing "why didn't I ever think of that it's such common sense" part. Plus, the grid is getting greener and will continue to do so.
So you can knock that simplistic "common sense" right out the window.

An eye opening docufilm.
This world is currently on the brink of irreversible death it may not happen tomorrow but if we do not do something about it immediately it will happen soon. We need strong global leaders all the more in a person like President Donald Trump to lead us. Salute
