US Expat Father is Go-Funding to Get Passports and Tickets for his Kids

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

No link???

Sounds like yet another irresponsible, deadbeat foreigner who knocked up a local bargirl ...if legit, I feel sorry for the kids. What is it with these idiots, first thing after getting the kids official Cambodian birth certificate should be to apply for their foreign citizenship and passport.

The text reads very much like a native Khmer using English as a second language.

Or, of course, the dad may have a very low standard of writing skill.

It might have been transcribed from the immigration center or whatever. He seems like an irresponsible twat, now is not the time to be scrambling around to get the kid's passports. He doesn't even have an up-to-date visa/EOS himself.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

This gent never mentions if he ever paid for the paternity tests for these children when they were born and went to PP to get them birth certificates.
The USA is not going to take his word for it ....
If he followed the rules even deadbeats are capable he would of established paternity at birth...years ago.
Then, he should of gotten dual citizenship and passports...He would just be renewing them at this point. Lest we forget the mother of these children.
Cambodia is not going to just let him steal them and the USA is not going to just hand over passports.
It is unbearable to think that this is all these kids have in their corner.
11 years old and he never thought of getting the boy a passport until now?
