Every time I return to OZ [ twice a year for the last 10 plus years ] Border Force go through my bag with a fine tooth comb . I now know how they work / dont work. I'm not willing to tell you more in public.SternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Fri May 15, 2020 1:21 pmOf all the things you could smuggle, DuncDuncan wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 3:53 pm Now to add to that story, I have a water distiller in PP and in OZ. When all the water has been boiled away what is left in the distiller is the stuff that will not evaporate at boiling point 100 degrees C. And here in pic is what it looks like after many, maybe 20 or 30 times of distilling 4 lt at a time and drying the remains.
Yep, your drinking that in your tap water.
and you chose ^^^
You are even more unfathomable than i thought.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Pesticides are fine as long as you consume them in small quantities. People only die from vats of Roundup. Water is going to have minerals in it, which is what your deposits are made of, mostly carbonates and silicates. The water in Phnom Penh when it comes out of the treatment works is the cleanest in South East Asia, so unless you are drinking out of the toilet runoff shouldn't be a major issue. Drinking loads of distilled water is not going to do you any favours apart from saving your kettle elementDuncan wrote: ↑Fri May 15, 2020 1:30 pmYour filter will not filter out any chemicals that are washed into the water supply during the heavy rain storms. Try putting some food colouring on the inward side of your filter and see if it filters it out. I'm even willing to place a large amount $$$$ on it ,, Your filter will not filter it out , but my water distiller will.
Been there Done that.

No one speaks Spanish or Portuguese in these places. I went to the Mexican restaurant on the riverside and tried ordering my meal in Spanish to the waiter who was wearing a sombrero and he could not understand me.

There are TV shows that show the whole world exactly how they go through people's bags and how they profile people at borders/airports, it's not really a secret. Do they tell you after they've gone through your stuff to not let anyone know how they unzip your bag and look through all your belongings?
When i went to Australia, it was the easiest and quickest immigration ever. I didn't even speak to another human, just put my passport up to the machine and breezed through, maybe you're wicked dodgy looking???
If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!
This.

I was in an Italian restaurant recently and asked the Khmer waiter for a prosciutto pizza to go. He said prosciutto as an Italian would.
I thought he might have said "You want a prostitute pizza to go?". Molto bene!
