although i not been to SR for 4 years, i do like it there, i did live there in 2013 but the night life is limited

In prior years I would say SR has a great variety of women from around the World and restaurants to take them to if that is your definition of having fun. If you want Khmer ladies the KTVs are great.
PP riverside takes the prize for adult entertainment ladies...if that is your thing.
I sure prefer SR for quality of life ....
This is my 2nd year living here and I visited twice before I moved here...
I tend to party a tad hard in PP and act like I am 30 years younger....
Things have changed this year...
Who knows what is going to happen?
I sure don't think ladies from around the World are planning trips to SR.....and the bars and KTVs are closed across the land...

Yeah I’m talking Khmer women, let’s say I wanted to barfine a girl every other weekend.. is there enough variety at the SR ktvs?

Yeah PP seems way better but is a bit more dangerous, I honestly can’t decide I’m leaning towards SR, I guess I could always go to PP for a weekend. I plan to come and try to stay 5 years minimum. I gotta get tf out of America for awhile

Thing is that it's a little pointless question don't you think. I say that because of what has happened around the world with this outbreak of the virus, and no way of stopping it just now. So many things can change until this is finally over. Who knows the total outcome, it can only be presumed by people, and that of the two cities of Cambodia.

Are you going to be working online? If so, I'd definitely say just stay a few weeks in both places and just decide on a whim. Sounds like you'd probably be better in Phnom Penh, but that's just based on your questions about the two places. Kampot is a great place to be these days, but obviously it's all pretty subjective.

A large country town with all the associated tourist gun and games.
Now if you’re into whore bars etc, then PP would probably suit you better.
