Chinese Man Loses Job and Becomes Homeless; Gets Arrested
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On April 9, 2020, at 12:30 pm, the Department of investigation and procedure of the General Department of Immigration received a 27-year-old Chinese man, WANG PENG, from Toul Tumpong police post, in Khan Chamkarmorn, Phnom Penh. The Chinese man was arrested by police for not having a passport or visa.
The Chinese man came to Cambodia to look for work on January 2, 2018, arriving at Sihanoukville Airport. While he was in Cambodia, he lost his job in Sihanoukville, and now has no money and no place to stay. He was sent to the Phnom Penh Immigration Department to be deported.
