Mandatory quarantine to be enforced for all entering Cambodia

Goodbye Cambodia. Cambodia started the way of communism and totalitarianism again, hopefully those criminals answer in Hage the crimes against humanity by enforcing such draconian measures. Hopefully, somebody knows how to bribe those arseholes so a free, sovereign man like me can be free when I come to Cambodia.

All people entering Cambodia, either by air or by land, including migrant workers are to be quarantined in designated quarantine areas to avoid the possibility of these people from contracting or spreading the deadly COVID-19 to others.

Speaking at a press conference this morning, Samdech Hun Said “All people entering Cambodia will have mandatory quarantine for a period of 14 days from the date of arrival. The quarantine centres will be at the points of entry at land crossing, sea ports, water ways and all airports. These measures are necessary as out of 115 COVID-19 positive cases, of whom 66 are imported cases involving foreigners who then had infected Cambodians.

“As such, mandatory quarantine centres are being set up for these entrants to be transferred straight to these centres for a period of not less than 1`4 days to cut the connectivity between people entering Cambodia by any of the borders with locals and others,” he said.

The Quarantine Centres will be at the point of entries and also at the provincial, district and village level in a move to deter migrant workers from returning homes. This measure is also viewed as necessary to deter foreigners from traveling to Cambodia at this time due to the global pandemic spreading to all corners of the earth and unscrupulous people taking medications to suppress their symptoms on arrival to escape detection by thermal scanners.

He also called on migrant workers to stay put in Thailand or go into self-quarantine upon their return home to stem the spread for COVID-19.

Mr HE said that although the government is very concerned about the spread of the virus, it will not close the borders.

He said that more than 3,000 rooms have been reserved for COVID-19 patients.

“I hope that those who have jobs there, please stay put in Thailand. If you return to Cambodia, you will be quarantined for 14 days,” Mr HE said, noting that migrant workers could not go back to Thailand because it has placed its country in a state of emergency.

“So staying there is better than returning to Cambodia,” Mr HE said. “Of course, there is the spread of infection in Thailand.”

I think a lot of idiots are frightened of viral pneumonia with little to none decent healthcare available.

Dont like it dont come here. Simple as that.

And as said above you could be a little more afraid here due to the poor healthcare. I doubht Thailand will let you fly in if you get sick right now. Should be careful regardless.
