Situation in Siem Reap?
Situation in Siem Reap?
A friend of mine is thinking of going over there during the corona time, he is now in PP. Are the bars and western restaurants still open? How about local food and markets? Maybe someone who is there can give a brief update. Much appreciated

Not much left open, though a lot of restaurants deliver. Really not the best time to travel @staythefuckathome
Re: Situation in Siem Reap?
The wife visited Psar Leu today (the largest market in Siem Reap) and said 80% of it is closed.
Less than half of the restaurants are open.
Some bars are open.
Basically the whole city has slowed down and there is a weird atmosphere.
If you plan to visit the temples now is an amazing time...

Its totally dead here and folks are just relaxing and chilling. Tell your friend to stay home.
