UK border is wide open and always has been. Cambodia's borders will not be opening anytime soon.

Breaking news:
Dominic Cummings: PM's top adviser to leave No 10 with immediate effect
Published 14 minutes ago
Boris Johnson's chief adviser Dominic Cummings has left Number 10 with immediate effect, BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg says.

Mr Cummings spoke to the PM earlier, she said, and it was decided it was best for him to go now rather than next month after days of turmoil in No 10.

The former Vote Leave supremo had been at the centre of a power struggle in Downing Street this week.

The PM's director of communications Lee Cain has also left.

Mr Cummings was seen leaving No 10 a short while ago carrying a cardboard box.

On Thursday, Downing Street said Mr Cummings would be leaving by Christmas after a row over how No 10 is run and the appointment of a new chief of staff to Mr Johnson.

But Laura Kuenssberg said his departure had been brought forward given the "upset in the team" in Downing Street, for which she said it had been a "difficult week".

There have been more than 1.3 million confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK and almost 52,000 people have died, government figures show.

However, these figures include only people who have died within 28 days of testing positive for coronavirus and other measures suggest the number of deaths is higher.

Can you imagine the panic if cambodia disclosed 28 thousand new cases in one day, they go into a flap when 3 cases are discovered at the airport, meanwhile in the UK its party time

Cambodia gets a couple plane loads every day. That’s a thousand or so tests. Out of a thousand arrivals 1-3 positive, around 0.1%. Remember, everyone is pre-tested before departure as negative.

Even if Cambodia had a 100% active infection rate, there would still need to have 28 thousand tests done in a single day in order to report 28 thousand new cases.

I honestly don’t think Cambodia has the organization or resources to do mass testing on that scale.

Of course Cambodia doesn’t mass test, so it will never happen.

I have also noticed that every time they report deaths it is now qualified with that 28 day caveat. There are plenty of people who suffer at home for 2 weeks before becoming so ill as to warrant hospitalisation and then languish there for more than 2 weeks before dying. Why the exclude people who have battled for 29+ days before dying is a mystery and will definitely supress the true number.

As before, no mention of the average age of those dying, so it's safe to assume it's nearly all the 70+ group. No wonder the -30's are telling the govt to get stuffed. From what I hear very few people are taking much notice of this lockdown, they've just shut the pubs, restaurants and gyms and hoping for the best.

From the article,

Tickets were offered at £25 each and organisers said they were doing nothing wrong.

However, North Wales Police said large gatherings are banned under Covid-19 regulations and anyone breaching them could face a £10,000 fine.

An illegal rave in Banwen, Neath Port Talbot, attracted 3,000 people and led to organisers being fined .

£75,000 Ticket sales (3000 x £25)

£20,000 Drink and Drug sales

£95,000 Total

Costs

£3000 Security (much less if you let them have the drugs concession)

£5000 Venue (possibly much less if it's a field)

£10,000 Fine maximum. (one front man who holds his hands up and says, "it's a fair cop Guv")

£2000 Miscellaneous
______________
£20,000 Total Costs

Profit £75,000.

Not bad for a nights work.

Dying is just the end result. More and more reports now of people getting the virus and ultimately NOT DYING, but suffering all sorts of medical problems afterwards.

These problems will burden the National Health Care system for decades to come.

Just food for thought.

Please be safe out there.
