Cambodia's Monks are Feeling the Coronavirus Pinch
Cambodia News, Sihanoukville: Cambodia's monks who rely on door to door donations of food in return for prayers are feeling the pinch with the increasing shutdown of businesses and people staying behind closed doors to avoid the coronavirus.
In Preah Sihanouk province, the Sihanoukville governor and the provincial administration have decreed that local officials will visit the province's pagodas to distribute sacks of rice, other food, and also anti-infection products to prevent the spread of the virus.

Traditions overcome virus fears, and social distancing is not yet clearly understood by the authorities.

Re: Cambodia's Monks are Feeling the Coronavirus Pinch
Cambodia News: Cambodia's monks are not very happy about the New Year lockdown, because visits to the pagodas are restricted, therefore limiting the number of people bringing food and offerings. Some of the pagodas have barriers outside to prevent the general public from entering.
And of course, no loudspeakers, no games, no parties allowed.

Talking to my girl last night seems fun and games as usual at the temple in the province, many asking where I was , the local ladies missed beating me at "tug of war" and sack racing
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.
