Human nature is kinda funny. At least in the US.Haden wrote:Well now we are killing the young to save the old.
As an old man would you rather die than see your children's future ravaged. Jobless, homeless, hungry etc?
Individually, no one wants to see THEIR kid or grandkid being harmed.
However, as a group, cutting any funding for the elderly is the political kiss of death. In fact, a campaign slogan compared it to throwing grandma off the cliff.
Funding is a zero sum game. Elderly funding comes at the expense of funding for the children and vice versa.
Now back to the theater of the asinine arena.

Research it yourself % of people who have had it and died from it doesn't reach the top 100.Doc67 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 10:50 amI never did get my 100+ list of pandemics of which Covid-19 didn't even make the cut. Maybe he was making it up as he went along.Username Taken wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 5:02 pmSo what have we got here?Haden wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 4:24 pm So you got a jad stayed in your house in whatever county/s that may be. And are still staying in your house.
So your comings and goings Haven't been affected (as your resume states). So you're ok. Fuck everyone else.
But what of the millions of newley jobless/homeless dead (indirectly) people etc. Etc.
All for a virus that in all honesty. Has a 99.blah blah survival rate
*HONESTLY THINK ABOUT THIS BIT*
Surley being in Cambodia, a country fairly relient on tourists, you could argue the forced boarder closures will do more damage than covid ever would?
And I'll stop calling you Shirley.
Trolling. Check
Baiting. Check
Being annoying. Check
Bad spelling. Check
I reckon that deserves a 7 day holiday. Bye bye stupid.

Re: Corona Virus Weird News
Back to silly news. I like this one, which looks a bit ridiculous, but is entirely harmless, and may even encourage certain people to get jabbed. If it feels good, do it.
Windmills of your mind: viral Covid jab ‘hack’ placebo effect at best, say doctors
TikTok users have posted videos of themselves swinging their arms after vaccination to prevent aches

A vaccine “hack” rumoured to alleviate any unpleasant side-effects from the Covid vaccination, which involves swinging your arm like a windmill, has gone viral on TikTok.
But medical experts have warned that the only thing those standing outside vaccination centres flailing their arms in the air will lose will be their dignity.
“It’s harmless, looks very silly and won’t do anything. The sore arm does not actually happen immediately as the immune response has not yet happened, and not everyone gets it either,” said Beate Kampmann, professor of paediatric infection and immunity and director of the Vaccine Centre at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
“Let people wave their arms if it makes anyone feel better – it really is a tiny quick injection on the day. We give vaccines to children all the time and they are just fine.” she added.
Adam Finn, professor of paediatrics at the University of Bristol and an honorary consultant at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, agreed: “I doubt it is harmful – or helpful beyond any placebo effect, which could be substantial,” he said.

Listerine mouthwash: Another Covid miracle cure promoted by a politician with no medical training - but at least it won't kill you, and may sweeten your breath.
Mouthwash Does Not Kill COVID, According to Listerine
Sen. Ron Johnson insists mouthwash is a “proven” treatment for COVID-19. It is not.
December 9, 2021, 4:20pm
Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson has a novel idea for treating COVID-19: using mouthwash. The only problem is that the companies that make mouthwash think this is a terrible idea, as do medical experts.
On a recent Wisconsin tele-town hall, Johnson said mouthwash was a “proven” treatment for COVID-19, which is not true.
“By the way, standard gargle, mouthwash has been proven to kill the coronavirus,” Johnson said in an audio recording published by Chicago-based progressive website Heartland Signal. “If you get it, you may reduce viral replication. Why not try all these things?”
