What I don’t get is how he managed to convince this Khmer lady to follow him and drag her kids along as well. Khmer generally talk to their family, extended family, and friends before making major decisions. The real story I want to know is how this guy managed to convince all of them of to advise her and the kids to follow him.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote:The guy is a total asshat and the only sad thing about all this is that he managed to drag the Khmer woman and her child into his mess.
Anyways, I hope they all make it out safely from what sounds like a country sliding into civil war.

Awww the dangers of civil war are exaggerated. He's got the kids enrolled in top notch schools and they've already got plenty of friends. What could go wrong?

UPDATE
You will be pleased to hear that Justin and his family managed to leave Surinam safely and have returned to live in Cambodia. The family are starting a AirBnB/homestay business in the Cardamom Mountains, close to the border with Trat, Thailand. Good luck with that.

It looks like this guy had money the entire time? Kids just casually made $2k during the pandemic
