I would not be surprised if the entire country follows, surely Saigon is next?

Re: Vietnam may be about to lockdown
As per the Prime Minister’s decree, all of Vietnam is in lock-down from today. The last three restaurants in Sa Pa have closed and there was panic buying at the supermarket just now including, surprisingly, a run on toilet paper.johnny lightning wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 4:10 am I would not be surprised if the entire country follows, surely Saigon is next?

Hanno, what is the latest? A mate of mine in Vinh (I know not exactly the centre of the universe) talked to another mate of mine last night and said that (at least where he is) they have reversed course and things are opening up already. Sounds unlikely I thought. Maybe local/city authorities have some leeway in what/how they enforce things?
