Have you lost your job due to Corona Virus? Need a CV?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. I spent considerable time helping my Khmer brother in law getting his CV proper. He was hired quickly and they specifically mentioned the quality of it.

All that said, I would definitely pay $100 to not spend the time doing it.

Why are people upset at this thread or Roz? Weirdos

It boggles my mind, I've actually had hate mail because of this.
I really don't know why.

Seems like some are jealous or hateful that you seem to be running a successful business Roz. There are a lot of armchair business experts on this forum who always appear to criticise sales or business offers on this forum. Their goal appears to be to run down such offers that will benefit the OP financially. So perhaps an element of financial jealousy.

I'm sure their own CV's would be enlightening once you've spent a couple of hours correcting the spelling mistakes.

Feel free to continue occasionally bumping it, Roz. You offer a very useful service at a discount that anyone needing your services will surely appreciate.

I know several people who have used your services to write their CVs and they're very happy (and employed, I should add, lol).

I feel bad for people who don't understand the importance of first impressions when it comes to potential employers, and that often starts with your resume/CV.

Thank you GM :)

This is a list that may interest people who think only idiots contract a professional CV writer.

I've used Roz's services and though blunt in her approach, she offers a good, clean cut service. She's a professional at what she does, so I don't see why people are wondering how this is a "thing". CV writing/editing has been a thing for decades.

People come to see me when they need professional help in my area of expertise, just as you'd seek an engineer if doing structural work on your house, or a lawyer for legal advice. I don't see how it's any different with a CV writing service. You pay a professional for their services, how's that complicated? Most of us are out of touch with what's "in", what catches headhunters'/HR staff's eyes and so on. Take it or leave it?

You would understand why such a service can be a good investment if you had seen some of the CVs that have landed on my desk in the last few years.
