Update: An eye-witness has said that the foreigner got himself thrown out of Lisa Bar, which is, (according to the source) a French restaurant cum girlie bar, because he was drunk and behaving badly. He was thrown on to the road and eventually left the scene with a bloody nose, but then he came back in a car, intending to drive into Lisa Bar as revenge. However, he was so drunk that he missed the corner and hit the shop next door by mistake.
It was a miracle that nobody was hurt in this rampage, and it is also a miracle that the foreigner didn't get thrashed, because the locals were all scared and very angry. Disgraceful.

I was there at the time as well and witnessed it. I was told he was pissed off at the owner of the other car (white Lexus), thus smashing into it after failing to smash into the bar (either failing, or trying to scare them). Maybe the owner of the car was the one who gave him the bloody nose, this him coming back and smashing repeatedly into the car.

Yeah, he was definitely trying to damage the Lexus as much as he could.

Never even heard of that bar before. There's a train of shit bars and restaurants opening and closing constantly along that bit of street.

It's known as the French bar. Been there for a while. I don't know if it's French owned, but French is the majority language between customers. It quite often features punch-ups, women screaming in the street, and customers falling off their motorbikes late at night. The rest of the street is pretty quiet.
