possible benefits of pandemic

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

are you suggesting that being able to see the positive in a shit situation equals wanting the death of millions?
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Well this is dickwad Duncans view and it hasn't changed for years. The world cannot continue to use Earths resources at the ever increasing rate that is happening now. The capitalist system and greed make it impossible to stop or even slow down our use and abuse of this planet. It would be more acceptable by people if a meteor or asteroid hit Earth and wiped out half the worlds population, than having a war or virus do it for us. That way we would have no-one to blame.
I look at it this way, Those that survive will have an opportunity to learn from our faults and start a new type of life without nuclear subs , bombs, weapons and scientists that have nothing to do but create viruses.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Still not even 10% of deaths caused by swine flu in 2009, and no lock down then...

This shit is ridiculous.

*I will add that I'm in week two of staying at home and away from sick people and a bit cranky.

Did you stay at home and away from sick people in 2009?

If not, maybe start calling yourself ridiculous?

Hopped on the ferry, straight into downtown CBD Sydney 5.30 pm. tonight.
Walked right thru town.
Maybe 2 - 300 people, i saw, in 5 k's over one hour.
Peak hour.
Maybe 10 -15% of normal road traffic.
Came back across the harbour, lovely autumn evening, sit outside, top deck.
- only one on the ferry.

Bliss. This is how a city should be.
