timmydownawell wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2020 6:38 pm EG extensions are being issued for only one month at a time for now. Hopefully they will come up with a three or six month option though because it's gonna use up a few passport pages before we can travel again.

I paid $50 for mine, another agent quoted $55.
Did you have to have the $50,000 insurance, if you don't mind me asking?
No, why would I?
I dunno, I guess it's just for people applying for visas from outside. Maybe I'm getting a little paranoid.. Thanks for clearing it up though. :beer3:

Just took mine in for same. Told 10 days. If you come in from outside you need health certificate even if you have a visa. Not sure about the insurance.

wow, so anyone living in Cambodia on a extension, if they leave and want return, now needs insurance and a "no" covid certificate?

hope that changes, how many expats there have med insurance? I dont

And no insurance company will insure you once you get over a certain age. Looks like its time for someone to set up a dodgy insurance company with its head office in Nigeria .

It is just a temporary measure implemented during the COVID-19 restricted travel period, I highly doubt it will become a permanent requirement.

Yeah I thought maybe the insurance thing could be got around by buying a one month travel insurance, but ofc they have now stopped selling policies.
