Empty places around the world, photos

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Nothing is normal in Vung Tau... except the drunken Aussie vets.

Visa extensions are possible if you have not entered on a tourist visa (DL). The USD $10, 3-month, business (DN) visa extension has jumped from $80 to anywhere between $185 and $400 (depending on the agent). They have to replace the lost revenue from visas on arrival. Capitalism is good. :D
I had a Tourist visa, which probably meant it could not be extended then. A VT friend now in Oz had his visa app "rescinded" so he's stuck.

On July 1, Vietnam is going to try to 'clear the house' of all the illegal, unqualified English teachers i.e. stoned idiots with 'man-buns' on tourist visas who don't pay fuckin' taxes. With the COVID-19 virus scare, even he Saigonistas aren't here.

It's beautiful (unless, of course, you own a business).

"Then" could have been anywhere from the 'big bang' to the present.

Cruise monkey from what I understand you can change the country and nationality But at least the drunken Aussie expats in Vung Tau have money in there pocket as opposed to the majority of drunken expats in Cambodia who don’t have a pot to piss in. Ergo the reason they live in Cambodia

Vietnamese ladies are cold and unemotional. I’d prefer Cambodian ladies. The rhythm of life is more relaxed in Cambodia too. Some people don’t want to be in the middle of rush for modernizing. Just saying there may be more reasons than you can see.

the picture of President Trump on this thread just shows how childish cunts can be.

Why bring politics into this?
You have never met a hillbilly...
I suspect you don't even know what one is or where they are from.
It was an interesting thread with pictures of places normally full of people...
I thought you had taken up photography and would post another one of your excellent B&W fotos of some empty place you have encountered.
but, fuck no....

 Thanks for that. It's always nice to start your day with a good laugh.
Do you think the parents of baby boomers whined so much when the boomers started changing society? And yet the whiney ones like to call young people "snowflakes." Hmm...
