Kandal province: A man was found drowned in a pond in the backyard of a resident named Nuth Moam in Barong village, Baron commune, Lvea Em district, after he had been drinking too much alcohol on March 12, 2020.
The victim was named Sath Saran, a 42-year-old Cambodian farmer who lives in the village.
The villagers said that the man was a heavy drinker, and it is assumed that he fell in the pond by accident and passed out. The next day, local people were shocked to find his body floating there, and they called the authorities to come and fish him out. He was already dead.
