Indian Man Declared Dead from Heart Attack on Phnom Penh Building Site
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On March 9, 2020, an Indian man, RAJAMANICKAM SHANKAR, 47 years old, was found dead at the scene of a construction site of SME bank on streets 51/126, Sangkat Psar Thmey 1, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
A tuk-tuk driver, Chen Thavy, 34 years old, said on March 9 some people called his tuk-tuk, and there were three customers, (including 1 woman), who told him to go to Samdach Ouv hospital. When they arrived at the hospital, the woman took the victim in a wheelchair and went inside the hospital, but unfortunately, the medical staff told them that the victim had already passed away.
The specialist police went to the scene to examine the body and determined that the victim died of a heart attack. The victim's belongings that were found on the body, such as four cards, $US 8, an AKG card, and a bag, were sent to keep at the Immigration Department to be reclaimed by the family.
The body has been taken to rest at Stueng Meanchey pagoda, awaiting the decision of the victim's family. RIP.
