Bloody Man Waits for Police after Stabbing Father to Death

Cambodia News (Prey Veng): On March 9, 2020, at 02:30 am, a 27-year-old man, Sen Thavon, used a knife to attack his father to death, in their house in Baphnom District, Prey Veng. The victim was identified as Sin Pov, a 55-year-old man, who died at the scene of multiple stab wounds.

The suspect, who is said to suffer from a mental illness, did not run away after he stabbed his father. He stayed at the scene until the victim died, and the police came to arrest him and take him away.

The country must acknowledge that there are people with mental illness.
Unless certain ministry is setup to cater to this group of people, news of such tragedies will not stop.
